Cuisines at Lotus Paradise

Our Restaurant at Lotus Paradise is laid back and elegant: an indoor/Outdoor hangout for guests wanting to dine, celebrate, or enjoy our sunset happy Hour after a day at the River. Outdoor setup in River Deck take you memorable dining experience faced to remarkable Madhu River.

The kitchen serves up local and international cuisines. The daily menu is built around seasonal ingredients with an emphasis on organic locally produced Lake fishing fresh seafood from the nearby fishing village.

We are proud to live and work in one of the best green zones on the planet, where people live longer lives due to healthy lifestyles. Our diet is a big part of the Sri Lankan lifestyle and having access to local and natural products plays a major role in helping to keep us so healthy. Fresh Fruits, natural products, and home grown Vegetables and Chicken come from the nearby town of Balapitiya. The majority of our food come from Lotus Resort Groups organic farms just few miles from Lotus Paradise. We are lucky to offer most tasty Prawns in Sri Lanka, its Madhu Lagoon Prawns.

As important as the food itself, meal times are entirely at your discretion.

At Breakfast we offer a selection of local specialties as well as Western dishes. Lunch can be set menu or buffet style, or you can choose from our snack Menu. Dinner is a gourmet affair and if you would like a romantic dinner, with your loved one, we could set up a table in the garden for supper and the stars.

For those who are hell-bent on losing weight, we offer a calorie-counted series of menus, but we do not enforce this on ever gone!

We are pleased to offer Cookery classes for our guests wishing to learn the secrets of Sri Lankan cuisines.

The Dining pavilion is open to non-residents-we just ask that you call to make a reservation.
